The Role
This role plays a vital part in ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience within our showroom. You will assist walk-in customers by attending to their inquiries, guiding them through their purchase or collection process, and helping to reduce waiting time by proactively assisting with their orders. As a Service Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, setting the tone for their overall experience with BullionStar. This role is ideal for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and an interest in the precious metals industry.

Responsibilities
• Welcome and attend to walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist customers with their inquiries and provide information about BullionStar’s products and services.
• Support customers in placing orders and converting them into collection orders where applicable.
• Help manage and minimise customer waiting time through proactive engagement and efficient coordination.
• Work closely with the Counter and Operations teams to ensure smooth customer flow and service delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional front-line environment at all times.
• Uphold BullionStar’s high standards of customer service and brand image.

Requirements
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to speak confidently and professionally with customers.

Location & Work Hours
The job location is BullionStar's bullion shop, showroom, and vault at 45 New Bridge Road. This bustling location is situated between Chinatown and Clarke Quay, with Clarke Quay MRT just across the road, making commuting easy.
5-day work week, including 1 Saturday.

Salary and Benefits
The salary is dependent on your capability, experience, and skills. The typical starting salary is from SGD 2,400 to SGD 3,000 per month for a driven candidate. BullionStar furthermore offers reimbursement of medical bills and access to an employee health and fitness benefit program. This is a 6 month contract role with the potential for conversion to full-time employment based on performance and company needs.
